This year’s Grammys will be quite special, since the award show has announced that it will include a special memorial for the victims of the Las Vegas shooting. The show will reunite 3 performers from the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, where the shooting occurred. Eric Church, Maren Morris, and Brothers Osborne will perform together as a tribute to those who lost their lives during the tragic event.
“Live music events have always provided a safe space for fans to gather in a shared celebration of music. Sadly, that wasn’t always the case this past year,” Recording Academy president Neil Portnow stated.
Country music singer Jason Aldean hasn’t been announced as one of the performers. It was during his performance when the sniper shooting began, taking the lives of 59 people within the crowd.
The other, previously announced, performers for the night include Kendrick Lamar, Pink, Bruno Mars, Cardi B, Lady Gaga, SZA, Childish Gambino, Broadway stars, and more.
