2015’s Kung Fury is a 310minute short film that pays homage to the ’80s and martial arts.It is about the titular hero Kung Fury, who sets out to defeat the most dangerous kung fu master criminal of all time: Adolf Hitler, a.k.a Kung Führer. To defeat Hitler and the Nazis, Kung Fury goes back in time take them down.
This film already sounds pretty wild, but it has gone from screening at the Cannes Film Festival to getting a feature-length sequel that will star Michael Fassbender. Variety reports that the creator and star of the original film, David Sandberg, will star in the movie as the Kung Fury, and David Hasselhoff will also be making an appearance, as he did in the original.
