At this point everyone is thinking the exact same thing: Apple’s iPhone has been around forever and the changes to the iPhone is the past few years have been minimal. I mean, come on, the 7 looks exactly like the 6.
Needless to say, Apple needs to get there shit together for the iPhone 8 and it rumors are true, that’s exactly what they’re trying to do.
According to DigiTimes Apple might be switching from it’s aluminum frame to a stainless steel one. The report says, “The metal bezel will be made of stainless steel using a forging process to enhance its sturdiness and reduce costs and manufacturing time.”
Obviously the phone is likely not going to be all glass because that’s just Apple care waiting to happen. The main reason for the switch would be to increase durability.
Again, this is a rumor so nothing is actually confirmed yet (in case you’re freaking out already).
