At one point or another, we’ve all seen videos of people completely failing at some sort of handshake, with each one being cringier than the last (except this dog missing a high-five, because that’s just amazing).
Humans missing a handshake is beyond awkward, and even more so when it’s broadcasted on one of the biggest game shows in the world.
That’s something this dude on The Price is Right learned the hard way after he made a better price estimate than his opponent. As he went to give her a consolatory hug, he also stuck out his hand to be shook by Drew Carey. Carey, however, completely missed the opportunity.
Now, this wouldn’t be so bad if the guy just tucked his hand away, but it only got worse when he wouldn’t give up. As Carey turned to address the camera, the dude walked up next to him, hand still searching for a shake partner. Still, Carey didn’t see it, and the guy was just left standing there, out in the open, with the loneliest hand you’ll ever say.
