The Toronto Van attack targeted mostly women

On Friday, Toronto Police announced the identities of the ten victims in the tragic Toronto Van attack. It turns out, that the victims were mostly women, specifically eight were women and two were men. 

They were between the ages of 22-94.

A law-enforcement official reported that the senior citizens who were killed “may have come from an old age home in the vicinity.”

Officials said that although most of the victims were from the Toronto area, there was one person from South Korea and another one from Jordan.

The twelve people who were injured are still in the hospital recovering.

Alek Minassian; who has been suspected of the crime will be charged with 16 counts of attempted murder. He has also been charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder and is likely to appear in court on May 10.

It has been reported that Minassian commended Elliot Rodger on social media, the UCSB mass shooter who despised women.
