The Trailer for ‘Coach Snoop’ Depicts The Rapper’s Life On the Field Instead of Onstage With Mic in Hand

We all know Snoop Dogg for his music, and for his influential role within the hip hop community. We’ve even seen a glimpse of his acting abilities, and watched him co-host his own cooking show. But when the cameras aren’t on him, and he’s not spitting rhymes on stage, Snoop Dogg gives back to the community, as coach of a youth football team.

In the new Netflix documentary series Coach Snoop, we see another side of the rapper’s life, where he goes by the name of “coach,” and we see the relationship he shares with the kids who call him “coach.”

The eight-episode first season follows Snoop and his players as they chase the championships, while also dealing with their own personal lives and struggles.  Coach Snoop premieres globally on Netflix February 2, 2018. Watch the trailer below:
