Trailer Watch: Judd Apatow Decides to Stand Up Again, and Netflix is There to Stream the Results

It has been 25 years since Judd Apatow last performed stand-up comedy. But wouldn’t you know it, he has decided that that streak shall not continue.

The trailer for Judd Apatow: The Return features the Knocked Up director informing some of his funny friends about the special, and they all discourage him from going through with it, clearly fearing the risks of rust. Chris Gethard, for one, reminds him that the best advice that Apatow ever gave him was that he should just go for it because he has nothing to lose, but in this case, Apatow has so much to lose.

Personally, though, I must chime in and say that if Judd still has a burning passion to tear up the stage, then he ought to take that chance. To thine own self be true.
