After a Wednesday report from Axios about Trump being “obsessed” with Amazon, the president himself went public with his feelings toward the online retailer in the only way he knows how: putting them on blast via Twitter.
According to Donnie T, he dislikes the company due to their failure to pay an appropriate amount of taxes.
I have stated my concerns with Amazon long before the Election. Unlike others, they pay little or no taxes to state & local governments, use our Postal System as their Delivery Boy (causing tremendous loss to the U.S.), and are putting many thousands of retailers out of business!

According to Axios, despite Trump’s ire toward Amazon hasn’t produced any results, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has not announced any plans of regulating the company’s tax practices. Also, it’s really, really important to keep in mind that, while Trump sounds off about Amazon, he has yet to say a word about Facebook’s far more drastic security concerns, as they may have helped him win the 2016 election. Coincidence? I highly doubt it.
Trump has spoken out against Amazon in the past, saying that the company causes a “tremendous loss” to the US Postal Service. However, this is largely unfounded, as the USPS makes deals with big companies like Amazon which have not resulted in the dramatic downfall indicated by the president. If you ask me, it’s just another show of faux-patriotism.
Why is the United States Post Office, which is losing many billions of dollars a year, while charging Amazon and others so little to deliver their packages, making Amazon richer and the Post Office dumber and poorer? Should be charging MUCH MORE!

At this point, I’m really hoping Celebrity Deathmatch can make a comeback so we can watch claymation Trump and Jeff Bezos fight it out in the ring. That would be some damn good television.
