In the UK: Transgender Student Sparks the Withdrawal of a Fellow Pupil

A student from a Church of England school on the Isle of Wight has recently requested to be accepted as transgender. Parents Nigel and Sally Rowe have withdrawn their six-year-old child as result of the pupil’s request.
