The US’s Oldest Polar Bear Had a Better Birthday Party Than You Could Ever Throw

The US’s oldest polar bear, Coldilocks (THAT’S ACTUALLY HER NAME AND I CAN’T STOP LOVING IT), turned 37 on Thursday and the Philadelphia Zoo held a party in her honor.

Coldilocks is absolutely killing it, considering the average life span of a polar bear in captivity is about 23 years.

Some of Coldilocks’s best friends came by to sing “Happy Birthday” and present her will a delicious honey, peanut butter, raisin, and fish-filled cake. A fitting present for such a wonderful being.

Coldilocks used to live her partner, Klondike (ANOTHER GREAT POLAR BEAR NAME AHHHHHHH), but he unfortunately passed away at the ripe old age of 35.

Regardless, Coldilocks is killing it as an old lady and I hope she sees many more delicious birthday cakes in the future.
