One of my favorite annual New York events is Vulture Festival, which is returning to lower Manhattan for a weekend full of delightful, insightful panels and screenings on May 19-20, 2018. Vulture is one of the best outlets around when it comes covering entertainment, and they have again assembled an all-star lineup of creators and performers.
Here are a few highlights that I am planning on checking out and that I recommend you do as well:
–The Gorgeous Ladies of Netflix’s GLOW: GLOW stars Alison Brie and Sydelle Noel join creators Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch to discuss just how their spandex-heavy series became such a hit.
–Tracy Morgan: In Hilarious Conversation: A car crash in 2014 could not keep Tracy Morgan down forever, and now he is back in full swing as the star of the new TBS comedy The Last O.G. He will be on hand to discuss his return to the comedy game and to screen an episode of the show.
–Drag Race: Ten Seasons Later and Taking Over the Mothertucking World: What up, squirrelfriends? A group of fan favorite queens from throughout the run of RuPaul’s Drag Race will be making appearances, so love yourself and make it over to this panel.
Other folks scheduled to make appearances include John Leguizamo, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Gillian Jacobs, Rachel Bloom, Adam Pally, Samantha Bee, and Ava DuVernay. Tickets go on sale starting tomorrow, Wednesday, April 18. For ticketing, schedule, and venue information, head over to VultureFestival.com.
