The Secret Service detained an individual at a White House checkpoint after declaring his vehicle suspicious. Aside from suspicion though, the man drove legit drove to the checkpoint and claimed to have a bomb in his car. So yeah, secret service obviously detained him.
Around 11 p.m., the car stopped at a checkpoint about a quarter-mile from the White House. The man who was behind the wheel, Sean Patrick Keoughan, approached an officer and said he has “a bomb in the trunk” of the Chevrolet Impala he was driving.
Here’s the best part: Keoughan, 29, told the officer that the threat was “a test.”
Keoughan, of Roanoke, Virginia, was arrested on charges of making a false bomb threat and unauthorized use of a vehicle (the car he was driving was stolen).
