YASSSS! The House From ‘Father of the Bride’ is Up for Sale

Okay, Father of the Bride, is the best movie of life. Seriously, if you haven’t watched it, stop reading this right now and go watch.

For real …

I’ll wait.

Father of the Bride starred Steve Martin, Diane Keaton and Kimberly Williams. It was everything. So in the movie, the had an epic backyard with a basketball hoop that basically tied the entire fucking story together. When producer were scouting homes, they picked one for the interior shots, a Colonial Revival house in Pasadena, California, to serve as the Banks family home.

However, the backyard in that house sucked, so they found another home in Alhambra that was used from the backyard scenes. Located at 500 N. Almansor Street, that house is now for sale.

The house was built in 1925 and is selling for $1.98 million.
