Work, work, work, work, work, work. That’s what Bad Gal RiRi wants you to do.
Rihanna just announced that she’s officially launching a global scholarship program through her nonprofit, the Clara Lionel Foundation. The goal? To help you pay for college, get an education, and be an all around badass.
According to the website, the program will assist citizens or natives of Brazil, Barbados, Cuba, Haiti, Grenada, Guyana, and Jamaica in pursuing higher education in the United States.
USA Today reports that scholarship will range from $5,000 to $50,000. The best part is that there are no set number of scholarships available, so if a student meets the requirements, the company will try to help them out as best as possible.
“To be able to give the gift of an education is actually an hono. Higher education will help provide perspective, opportunities, and learning to a group of kids who really deserve it. I am thrilled to be able to do this.”
So what do you need to do to get the scholarship?
You need to already be accepted into a bachelor’s degree program for this coming fall. Scholarships will be given out based on academic performance, leadership skills, school participation, community service, work experience, and a personal essay.
