You Can Now Replace Siri with Google Assistant for the iPhone

Time to say goodbye to Siri!

No, Apple isn’t replacing its iconic AI voice assistant, but they are letting you replace it with Google Assistant starting today.

The only issue? It won’t make Siri go away for good. Siri is still built into the iPhone, but now, users are able to download the Google Assistant app, and just use that instead of Siri. You can see a demonstration on how it works below, courtesy of The Verge:

According to Wired, the app is free and available in the US, with more countries to come in the near future. The app was announced yesterday at Google ‘s I/O 2017 conference, along with a slew of new features for Google’s other, more irrelevant, products.
