You’re Not Walter White, Stop Throwing Pizza on Roofs

Do we all remember this scene from Breaking Bad?

It’s probably the best scene of the entire series (that may be a stretch but whatever). Walter White (Bryan Cranston) throws an entire pizza on the roof of his house after Skylar (Anna Gunn) refuses to let him in the house. Apparently, a lot of people love that scene and want to recreate it but it’s a living nightmare for the people who live in the infamous house now.

The house in Albuquerque, New Mexico actually does have a family living in it now. Unfortunately, they get tons of pizzas thrown on their roof all the time by fans of the show. Kind of funny, right? Probably not if it was happening to you.

Evidently, the situation has gotten so out of hand that Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad begged fans to stop during a podcast he did for his latest AMC hit and Breaking Bad prequel, Better Call Saul.

This is what Gilligan had to say:

“Lately, we’re hearing from the owner that folks are wandering on to her property, and are being rude to her when she comes out and basically says ‘you’re on my property.’ They’re throwing pizzas on roofs and stuff like that. Let me tell you: There is nothing original or funny or cool about throwing pizzas on this lady’s roof. It is just not funny. It’s been done before. You’re not the first.”

Good point.
